AMNI-CRYPT — PRIVACY POLICY

This privacy policy describes how Amni-Crypt, a file encryption application developed by Amni-Scient ("we", "us", "our"), handles user information.

1. DATA WE COLLECT

We collect no personal data. Amni-Crypt does not require account creation, registration, login credentials, email addresses, phone numbers, names, or location data. We do not operate servers that receive, store, or process user information.

2. DATA HANDLING

All encryption and decryption operations execute entirely on your device. No files, passphrases, encryption keys, cipher seals, QR codes, or user content ever leaves your device via our application. The app uses Android's scoped storage model, accessing only files you explicitly select through the system file picker. Encrypted output (.acrypt files) is saved to your Downloads directory. The built-in QR scanner uses your camera only when explicitly opened; frames are processed on-device in real-time and immediately discarded.

3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

3.1 Google AdMob

The free version displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Google's AdMob SDK may collect and process the following data as described in Google's Privacy Policy:

• Advertising ID (Android Ad ID)
• Device information (model, OS version, screen size)
• IP address (for ad serving geolocation; not shared with us)
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
• App usage data related to ad display

We do not have access to this data. It is collected and processed entirely by Google. Premium subscribers who remove ads will not have AdMob data collection active.

3.2 Google Play Billing

Premium subscription purchases are handled entirely by Google Play's billing system. Payment information is managed by Google and is never visible to or collected by us. We receive only a purchase token confirming subscription status.

3.3 Google ML Kit

The QR scanner uses Google ML Kit for barcode detection. ML Kit runs on-device and does not transmit camera data or scan results to Google servers. See ML Kit Terms.

4. DATA SHARING

We do not sell, trade, share, or transfer any user data to third parties. The only third-party data processing occurs through Google AdMob as described in Section 3, governed by Google's privacy policy.

5. DATA RETENTION

We retain no user data because we collect no user data. All application data exists only on your device under your control. Uninstalling Amni-Crypt removes all associated app data from your device.

6. SECURITY

Amni-Crypt implements a proprietary cipher architecture that differs from conventional encryption software in several fundamental ways:

• Extended block width: The cipher operates on 1024-byte (8192-bit) blocks, substantially wider than the 128-bit blocks used by AES and other standard ciphers. This expanded block size increases the internal state space and provides resistance against block-level pattern analysis.
• Dual-stream entanglement: Unlike single-stream ciphers, Amni-Crypt processes two parallel data streams that co-evolve through identical nonlinear and linear transformations. The interaction between these streams at each round creates a cryptographically entangled state where attacking one stream requires simultaneous knowledge of the other, effectively doubling the state space an adversary must explore.
• Proprietary round structure: Each of the 16 encryption rounds applies a unique sequence of fused nonlinear substitution, position-dependent permutation, and multi-lane linear diffusion layers. The specific composition, ordering, and parametric scheduling of these layers constitute proprietary intellectual property.
• High-iteration key derivation: User passphrases undergo 600,000 rounds of key stretching with per-operation random salt, producing a 512-bit derived key. This exceeds OWASP recommended minimums by an order of magnitude, providing substantial resistance to brute-force and dictionary attacks.
• Post-quantum shadow seeding: The secondary data stream is initialized using a NIST-standardized extendable output function from the SHA-3 family, ensuring the shadow state is unique per encryption and derived from a function resistant to known quantum computing attack vectors.
• Authenticated encryption: Every encrypted container includes an integrity tag computed over the full ciphertext. Tampering, corruption, or incorrect passphrases are detected before decryption begins, preventing oracle attacks and ensuring data authenticity.
• Zero key persistence: No encryption keys, derived keys, or passphrases are stored by the application after an operation completes. Key material exists only in volatile memory during active operations and is released immediately upon completion.

All cryptographic operations execute locally on the user's device. The cipher engine, round structure, table construction methodology, and stream interaction protocol are proprietary and protected as trade secrets under applicable intellectual property law.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Amni-Crypt is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

8. PERMISSIONS

• CAMERA — QR code scanner. Used only when scanner is explicitly opened.
• INTERNET — AdMob ad serving and Google Play Billing verification.
• STORAGE — Scoped storage for reading selected files and writing to Downloads.

9. YOUR RIGHTS

Since we collect no personal data, there is no personal data to access, modify, export, or delete. To stop AdMob data collection, you may: (a) subscribe to premium to disable ads, (b) reset your Android Advertising ID, or (c) opt out of personalized ads in device settings.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in the application or applicable laws. The "Last Updated" date at the top will be revised accordingly. Continued use of Amni-Crypt after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
